Teachers!
Treat your class to a field trip to the Hands-On Science Center! We give each group the special attention they need to make their trip to the Hands-On Science Center a day to remember – complete with a science show in our theater.
Each group gets plenty of learning time in the Hands-On Exhibit Area with time to enjoy the Gift Shop on their way out. We also provide a fun atmosphere for the kids to eat lunch outside (weather permitting).

- Electricity, Magnetism
- Animal Interaction
- Space
- Miscellaneous Science
- Sound and Music
- Laser/Light
- Dinosaurs
- and more have been provided for school groups.
Over 10,000 children a year from ten surrounding counties and cities as far away as Chattanooga, Nashville, and Huntsville have had the opportunity to experience real science in a hands-on environment. We have over 100 science and math exhibits that are designed to teach children in a fun and entertaining way!
As a working citizen, I am really anxious about the long term. although I am working in a safe company, i’m scared that i’ll be affected as well.
